kabhi kabhi aditi

Chords - Gm , Cm, A#, F
The starting interlude has to be strummed as well as muted. Considering it to be a 3-beat sequence,
hit the chord DOWN twice and then instead of striking on the 3rd beat, just mute the chord.
That should produce the desired effect. If you find a better way, do tell me. The interlude chords are as below:
/=slide
Interlude1  X 2
Am  /  Gm — Gm X 2 (Hit Am with down strum --> slide to Gm -->Gm (downstrum again))
Dm  /  Cm — Cm

(Now if you want you can play whole chorus just by Interlude1, shown above or you can do strumming.
Or if you have friend plays guitar with you, one can play Chords and other can play interlude.)

Strumming Pattern- D UD UDU UD -- D UD U(M)DU UD

MUKHDA/Chorus   X 2

Kabhi ka(Gm)bhi Aditi zinda(Gm)gi mein yuhi koi (Cm)apna lagta hai.
Kabhi ka(Gm)bhi Aditi wo bich(Gm)har jaaye to ek (Cm)sapna lagta hai.
Aise mei koi (Gm)kaise apne (Gm)aansu o ko (Cm)behne se roke?
Aur (F)kaise koi sochle every(Gm)thing’s gonna be ok?

Interlude2: The INTERLUDE is played again once but it is delayed by half a bar.

G---------5
D--5h7---  X2

Dm / Cm -- Cm (Dm - Cm slide, as in interlude1)
Than we do F Bb F interlude

ANTRA 1/Verse1

(A#)Soch jara jaane(F)ja tujhko hum (A#)kitna chahte hai.
(A#)Rotein hai hum bhi a(F)gar teri ankhon mein (A#)aansu aate hai.
(Gm)Gaane to aata na(Cm)hi hai magar phir (Cm)bhi hum gaate hai(Gm).
Ke Aditi (Cm)maan kabhi, kabhi (Cm)saare jahan mein an(F)dhera hota hai;
Lekin (Cm)raat ke (Gm)baad hi to sa(F)vera hota hai(F).

MUKHDA/Chorus Again

More repeat of INTERLUDE and chord progressions…

ANTRA 2/Verse2(A# and Bb are in the 1st fret)

(A#)Tu khush hai to la(F)ge ke jahan mein (A#)chhaayi hai khushi.
(A#)Suraj nikle (F)baadlon se aur (A#)baatein zindagi.
(Gm)Suun to jara mad(Cm)hosh hawa tujh(Cm)se kehne la(Gm)gi.
Ke Aditi (Cm)wo jo bichhad-te hai (Cm)ek na ek din (F)phir mil jaate hai;
Aditi (Cm)jaane tu ya (Gm)jaane na phool (F)phir khil jaate hai(F).

MUKHDA Again…

For the lead Intro... try these out...

Place 3rd finger (ring finger) on 4th string (D) - 7th fret and 1st finger (index) on 3rd string - 5th fret. Now, pluck both the strings at once and slide backwards so that 3rd finger is now on 4th string 5th fret and the 1st finger is on the 3rd string 3rd fret. then pluck both strings once again. once again…this would give the sound of the first intro..hear the song and keep playing it till u get the timings right..
For the second one, do the same with with 3rd finger on 3rd string 7th fret and 1st finger on 2nd string 5th fret.
Pluck both these strgins and slide backwards to 3rd finger on 3rd string 5ht fret and 1st finger on 2nd string 3rd fret.
