Scale picking Practise Routine

Let 1 2 3---7 are 7 notes in the scale
Time written shows how much avg time the practice takes

The practise I am writing is for any scale, but in example shown for Major Scale.
Suppose the scale has n notes, for major scale its 7. So taking full octave as:
1,2,3,4,5,6,7,8

Now for C scale it will be : CDEFGABC
So 1,2,3 = CDE, 2,3,4=DEF and so on

So practise are denominated like this.

1 The Major Scale
  • Prcactise all the 5 patterns of Am PS          X 5(up and down)    6min
  • Random Direction Changes    6min
  • Random Notes
  • Play in 3rd's(1st take 2 notes, than 3 and than 4..v.imp exercise)
3,4,5,6 In A Line
Consider the following permutations

2 Groups of three    5min
2a-- 123, 234, 345, etc.  Also part 2 is 123, 321 : 234 , 432 : n go on…sim for every prac
2b-- 321, 432, 543, etc.
2c-- 132, 243, 354, etc.
2d-- 312, 423, 534, etc.

3 Groups of four    5
1a-- 1234, 2345, 3456, etc.
1b-- 4321, 5432, 6543, etc.
1c-- 1243, 2354, 3465, etc.
1d-- 1321, 2432, 3543, etc.

4 Intervallic
3a-- 13, 24, 35, 46, etc. (thirds)    5
3b-- 31, 42, 53, 64, etc. (rev. thirds)
3c-- 13, 42, 35, 64, etc. (rev. every 2nd)

4a-- 14, 25, 36, 47, etc. (fourths)
4b-- 41, 52, 63, 74, etc. (rev. fourths)
4c-- 14, 52, 36, 74, etc. (rev. every 2nd)

5a-- 15, 26, 37, 48, etc. (fifths)
5b-- 51, 62, 73, 84, etc. (rev. fifths)
5c-- 15, 62, 37, 84, etc. (rev. every 2nd)

Note: I also do breathing exercise with this. So take case of playing 3rds. When I play 1,2,3 till the 8th note, I take breath and later on when coming back I leave breath. Please practise these routines with metronome.
